2.1 Parent Email Only
Task Pal+ collects **only the parent or primary account holder’s email address** during registration. This email serves as the main point of contact and is used to:
- Authenticate the primary user
- Manage the family account
- Enable secure communication
2.2 Family Member Names (or nick names)
Once registered, the parent can manually add **names of family members** to personalize task assignments and manage household activities. No additional emails or contact details are required for these profiles.
3. User Responsibility
3.1 Parent as Account Manager
The parent or guardian who registers is solely responsible for:
- Adding family members
- Assigning appropriate tasks
- Ensuring that all content and interactions within the app are safe, respectful, and lawful
3.2 Prohibited Task Assignments
Task Pal+ is intended for **positive and productive household task management**. Users must **not assign tasks that:**
- Could cause harm or distress to any family member
- Violate any local, state, or federal laws
- Involve unsafe or age-inappropriate responsibilities for children
4. Data Usage
We use the collected data to:
- Authenticate the parent account
- Personalize the family dashboard
- Enable task creation, tracking, and reminders
Your data is never sold, and is only shared with service providers who help operate our app securely and efficiently.
5. Data Security & Retention
- All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Only the parent account has access to editing or deleting family profiles.
- You can delete your account at any time; your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
